The $2.3 trillion infrastructure bill suggested by President Joe Biden is still facing criticism, and its final shape is unknown. However, major spending legislation is expected to pass in some form or another, which means there will be plenty of work for a variety of practice areas at law firms, including policy, litigation, corporate, and real estate.

As the White House’s post-pandemic rebuilding efforts cover so many areas, law firm’s clients want assistance in practice areas other than infrastructure, such as energy, corporate tax, health care, security, innovation, and supply chain. Clients are looking for insight into how the bill will eventually evolve, as well as what possibilities and risks will exist.

In response, law firms are hiring partners, conducting marketing campaigns and client education sessions, and forming task groups.
